Cooked rice completely fine, but using it the first time I decided to do 4 cups of rice because we were eating it over for dinner the next day. 4 cups filled it to the BRIM. So I wouldn’t try to do more than that. But overall it makes good rice !

Cooks white rice perfectly
As long as you follow the directions this cooks your rice perfectly. Measure out you quantity pour the water in and walk away and with cook it with you doing nothing else. Rice comes out perfect and not hard ones. Easy to clean and small enough to store away easily! We use this about once a week, next it to try brown rice!

This is my first rice cooker
It works pretty well. There have been a couple of times that my rice was a bit brown on the bottom, but maybe I didn’t add enough liquid. I really like using a cooker instead of the stove. Also like the plastic spoon-like utensil they include for fluffing the rice.

Best dorm room purchase ever
This was the best thing I ever bought for my college dorm. I’ve put about 30 pounds of rice through this so far and it still works great. A little sausage and egg to go with it and you’ve got an amazing, quick, and fairly cheap college meal.No fancy features or anything but a great deal for the price. Would 100% recommend for any college student.

Rice is great if you’re hungry and want to eat 2000 of something.
So far so good. I have always enjoyed the simplicity of this model. Needed a new one after my old one stopped working. The outside of the pot stays cooler which is always good when the cook enjoys wine. I was a little disappointed that this one did not come with the measuring cup. Now the rice water ratios will be off, and I will be forced to perform non-consensual math.

Only issue is with the pot itself.
Purchased twice and over time the pot will get scratched up which causes sticking. The cost of replacing the pot is the same as buying a new unit, so here we are again.

Great product
I’ve never been good at cooking rice and was left to cooking instant rice (which isn’t the best) and I saw this product and decided to give it a try. Wasn’t sure if it was really going to work and cook rice but to my surprise it made the best rice I’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend this product

Game changer!
I have never been able to make rice that wasn’t mushy in a pot. This rice cooker made perfect rice the first time!! Brown rice has a longer cook time, but all you do is put the rice and water in and it turns itself off when the rice is done. am super impressed! Love it!

Small rice cooker.
Perfect little rice cooker for a small family or a single person! It’s just me and my son so it’s perfect for us. I wouldn’t cook more than 3 or 4 cups of rice in it or it doesn’t cook very well.

Great product for the price point!
I hate having to make rice when I get home and working on dinner. This was recommended to me by a friend and it’s amazing. It cooks rice so quickly, and perfectly. It’s so easy to clean. The first couple of times you use it, it does have a burning plastic smell, but I read the seller say it’s normal. The smell has since gone away. Love this little rice cooker.

Beautifully Simple (i.e., idiot proof)
Exellent product. Functionallity:Add Rice. Add Water. Press the switch down.When the switch pops up, the Rice is done.That’s it.No dumb buttons for silly settings, no “fish steaming” mode, just Rice.Cleaning is also very easy. Just rinse out the bowl.

Nice little rice cooker
Pros: Very easy to use, easy to clean, takes up very little space on my counter. Rice is perfect every time.Cons: Small capacity, so it’s not adequate for more than 4 diners. Has no “ON/OFF” switch, so if it’s plugged in it defaults to “WARM”, meaning that plugged in it’s always “ON”.All in all, an easy to use rice cooker that can also be used to steam small items.

A good cheap rice cooker
This rice cooker is a good choice if you only need something to cook rice. The lid and inner pot are great. The only concern is The three feet on the bottom of the cooker are a bit flimsy. As long as you are careful not to bang them against something they should be fine. My only thought is that if you want a really rugged cooker I would suggest paying a few more dollars for one of the better Aroma rice cookers. I had one of the better Aroma rice cookers for a long time and it worked great.

Works perfectly and heats up fast
This rice cooker heats up very fast and allows me to start cooking my rice quickly. It has cooked my rice evenly every time I have used it so far. It is a basic white color on the outside, which makes it blend in well with all of my existing kitchen decor colors. The lid keeps it leak proof and seal proof. Has different settings you can set it on as well. Also included a medium size white plastic Spoon to fluff your rice with.

Overall basic starter for 1-2 person!
I’ve had this portable rice cooker for about a month-ish and I can honestly say….if you plan on eating the cooked rice the same day then there isn’t any issue. This rice cooker is good at what it is for. The only issue is that if you plan to wait a other day or two to finish up the rice. It doesn’t do well with keeping rice for more than 1 day…part of the rice gets over burn and/or soggy. It’s best to make rice and eat it right away then wait a day or two. If that is the plan, I would recommend a more better rice cooker.

Does what it’s supposed to
I’ve always wanted a rice cooker and finally bit the bullet and bought this. It’s very easy to use and just as easy to clean. You add the rice and water, push the button, and when the rice is fully cooked it automatically switches the button from “cook” to “warm” with the corresponding light indicator. Although I plan on cooking other food in this, the only thing I’ve made in it thus far is brown rice. At the completion of the cycle, the rice still needed to be cooked more and was hard and on the bottom of the cooker. I will need to adjust the recipe as far as water-to-rice ratio (which I’ve never had to do when cooking rice stovetop), so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt that was the problem and hope issue will resolve itself.

My son asked me to buy this for him but I’m the one using it all the time. We make a lot of rice in our house. This is super easy and no mess. The rice is perfect every time. Just make sure you follow the directions and rinse your rice a couple of times first so you remove the starch.

Perfect for seniors.
This small sized rice cooker is very easy to use and makes more than enough rice for the two of us. We also like the easy directions for measuring and cooking the rice. When the rice is done , the cooker resets its temperature to warm. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but does the job well.

Best Little Rice Cooker
This is an amazing little rice cooker. I add oil or butter and some seasoning then rice with the recommended water measurement, turn it on and with in 15 to 20 minutes it’s done. The rice is fluffy and delicious. I’ve tried both cilantro and lime, and tomato chicken seasoning and both are delightfully tasteful. Not just for white rice although it’s good too.

Best oatmeal ever!
It makes the best oatmeal ever! Very easy to clean. I have used it to make rice and oatmeal. I do think it could come with better instructions and an off switch. After searching the internet for info, I put food in, then poured water to the proper level and sprayed just a little oil on top of food. This stopped it from boiling over the top of the unit. At first I was ready to return it, very frustrating. Now I love it!

Had one like this a while ago and I love this one just as much. Can’t cook a lot of rice for a lot of people, but for one or two people, it is perfect. Cooks rice in about 15 minutes and is easy to clean and use.

Easy to use, great rice, but with a catch!
The rice comes out consistently perfect every time when we follow instructions. However, it should be noted that the amount of rice that it says it makes is not accurate. You are provided with a cup for measuring, but this cup is far less than 1 standard cup. It total makes maybe 2-2.5 cups of uncooked rice at a maximum.

No “off” switch
This is your basic rice cooker – does what it is supposed to do, and does it well. Non stick pan is easy to clean. One shortcoming compared to my previous one (a Panasonic) is that the switch has no “off” position, it has to be in “cook” or “keep warm”. So if you want to switch it off (e.g. you don’t want it to start cooking just yet, or you don’t want it to burn the bottom of the rice after cooking) you have to physically unplug it from the socket.

I eat rice a lot more often!
This makes it super easy to enjoy perfectly cooked rice. My wife and I use it nearly every day now, and it is just so easy. Did I say it was easy? And the rice is perfect?I would have given it 5 stars, but the one thing I don’t like is that it tends to burn the rice if I leave it in for too long after it cooks. Put another way, the “warming” feature is a little too hot. It would be better if it just turned off completely after the rice cooked.

This is an ok product. 4 stars only because while cooking, water leaks out from top. Need to remove lid when this happens. Also, unplug within 5 mins after cooking rice, otherwise it will stick to the bottom and char.
